    Hospitality is part of our family heritage. From the first seaside restaurants in Cannigione to Agriturismo La Colti and Hotel Villa del Golfo, we have always shared the Gallura we call home โ€” its true flavours, its nature, its culture.
    Cascioni Eco Retreat continues this legacy, inviting guests to experience our land first-hand: to walk among granite formations, spend quiet hours in the olive groves and take a breath by the sea.

    A private oasis in the Gallura countryside, where nature offers sanctuary and time slows to its own rhythm. Here, the world is left behind: wander among olives and myrtle, cool in the stream that flows into the protected Saloni Lagoon, and reach the sea along tranquil paths. On your return, rooms are intimate retreats; suites with porticos overlooking the lawn and heated private pools offer secluded, restorative luxury.

    At the centre of the retreat stands the stazzo, the ancient Gallura home, refurbished to host the communal areas. Here, the reception and restaurant welcome guests with warmth and beside it, guests can relax in the lounge bar overlooking the main pool.

    La Serra is a space devoted to special events and memorable occasions. The oak-scented cellar holds the treasures of our land, unveiled in private tastings. The Spa Mediterranea, complete with a heated pool, sauna, and natural treatments, is a true sanctuary of well-being.

    Just a short distance away, embraced by natureโ€™s tranquillity, lie the Superior rooms and suites: intimate, private, and seamlessly blended into the landscape.

    Il Frantoio & Lโ€™Olio

    In September and October, the estate embraces the ritual of olive harvesting. Slow, shared gestures elevate the work to ceremony: hands grazing olives, watchful eyes following their gentle fall, laughter blending with silence while light accompanies each movement. From our native varieties – pizzโ€™e carroga, tonda di Cagliari, bosana and nocellara etnea โ€” is born an organic extra-virgin olive oil that tells Sardiniaโ€™s story through scent, light and season. The same oil elevates the creations of Ulรฌa Ristorante Naturale, where seasonal vegetables and estate grown herbs converge in dishes that celebrate flavour, colour and authenticity. In the Spa Mediterranea, these essences combine with rituals of wellness and tranquillity, turning each treatment into a sensory journey. In every drop, in every taste, Sardinia can be felt, in the rhythm of the land and the autumn light that illuminates the estate.

    Gardens, Grains And Orchard: Our Nurturing Land

    A short distance from the retreat is the Family Garden, lovingly tended throughout the year. It supplies the vegetables, preserves and jams that are served at breakfast and aperitivo. Beside it, the orchard brings colour and sweetness to each season.

    Within the estate, a small garden and its farmyard animals โ€” hens, rabbits and two peacocks roaming the lawns โ€” keep the spirit of Galluraโ€™s rural life alive.

    A stoneโ€™s throw from the retreat, the Senatore Cappelli and Trigu Cossu wheat fields sway in the breeze. Their flour gives life to the bread, focaccia and pasta served at Ulรฌa.
